Our Park is located right on the beach side, on the Esplanade and just across from the Jetty, Historic Precinct, Foreshore BBQ and Picnic Areas and Children’s Playground.
We are a small seaside park with 30 Powered and Non Powered Caravan and Camping sites along with five fully serviced Ensuite Cabins and four Economy Cabins.
Our management, reception and park service team have extensive knowledge about the local area and the wider district. For your convenience our management team reside on site and are easily contactable in case of emergencies.
No matter where you stay you’ll have easy access to all the facilities we offer, including camp kitchen with television, two BBQ areas, crab cooking facility and fish cleaning area, laundry, newly upgraded amenities block, great drinking water and more…
Location
Port Germein is located right on eastern side of the Spencer Gulf in South Australia, between Port Pirie (26km) and Port Augusta (66km). A pleasant two and half hour drive North from Adelaide on the main highway A1.
At the heart of the Southern Flinders, Port Germein is the perfect base location for exploring the region, from National Parks to wineries, novel country towns and our neighbouring regional cities or just relax and enjoy the sea breeze and catch our fabulous blue swimmer crabs. It’s also a nice quiet stopover if you are heading further north or west.
Our Park is located right on the foreshore, snuggled between the High Street and the community Bowling Club. It’s a short walk through our access gates to the General Store, Post Office, markets, Hotel, clubs, sunset views and more…

Port Germein has a mediterranean climate with generally dry hot summers and cool winters. No matter what the weather there is always something to do. Check tide times, wind and temperature in advance of your stay.
